I usually don’t wear jeans but when I do, it’s Levi’s. I feel like they fit better than any other denim, the detail on the pocket is simple and classic and they have every wash/color/cut that you would want. It’s nice to find something that fits right.

I bought these heels a while ago and finally decided to style them into an outfit. It’s funny how often I’ll buy something on a whim..then I’ll instantly regret it and 6 months later I’ll absolutely love it. It’s such a strange process for buying clothes, but I guess it works.

hollywood forever.

A year ago today, I saw my favorite band Bright Eyes perform at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. It was such a beautiful experience and I got to share it with the people that I love the most. Every time I see Conor Oberst put on a show, I am filled with an indescribable joy. I’m so happy to hear he’s doing other projects and continuing to be amazing in such extraordinary ways.

I was looking through old photos/shoots that I’ve done and stumbled across this lookbook that my friend/photographer Jasmine Cervantes shot for 8000 Nerves. It was so long ago and since then, I’ve grown such a strong love for 8000 Nerves and the people behind the company. They really are creative and talented in the most wondrous of ways. Seeing these photos made me so nostalgic, happy and ready for Fall. & if you didn’t know…they have an online store now!

I went to Disneyland last week and it was so amazing/magical/spectacular/every-positive-adjective. If you haven’t been in a while, I suggest that you go. California Adventure has a new section called Cars Land and it is unlike anything else. They have cars that look like the cartoon… just driving around and an entire desert set up. Anyway, I’ll stop now because the more I talk about my fascination with Disneyland, the more I feel like I’ve hopped into a time machine and became 8 years old again. Haha. I’m kind of in love with the silky skirts from American Apparel. The color selection is perfect and they brighten up any blouse and they’re so easy to dress up or down. Anyhow, I wore mine in Peacock with a cropped lace blouse and brown boots!
