missguided.

I've fallen in love with jumpsuits this season. I used to stray away from them, since I felt like they were too costume-y or ridiculous or "out there" but now they're my go-to outfits! I think if worn right, with simple accessories and minimal styling, you can look classy and even elegant in the one piece wonder! I've been wearing my jumpsuit every chance I get; for a weekend out joy riding with the boy or attending birthday parties and even for nights out at the theater. It's the easiest and most comfortable item that I have and honestly, it's so much fun to wear!

daisies.

Daisies have quickly become my favorite flower this Summer. I think it's the simplicity that gets me because after all, it doesn't take too many petals to make a daisy. A daisy was actually the first flower I learned how to draw and I always thought there was something so beautiful about it's minimalism. Speaking of minimal, I decided to style this lace daisy dress from Charlotte Russe with all black and white accessories. I think the daisy waist band makes fora unique twist on a perfectly fitted black dress.

and does he drive you wild?

I've been listening to Damien Rice on my drives home and it makes me equally happy and sad. There is always something about passionate, soul driven music that will always leave you feeling a little bit free. It reminds me of Summer's spent at music festivals and long drives with my favorite people, it reminds me of laughing endlessly, first loves with racing hearts and beach days that feel like memories. Sometimes in these moments, I catch myself quietly repeating "I don't want this to end". So, here's to hoping for another summer that drives us wild...I'll be spending it wearing denim cut offs and leather jackets.

midi moment.

Midi dresses have been invading my wardrobe more and more....and honestly, I kind of like it. I've become so used to bare legs from the mid thigh down that wearing anything a bit longer is a nice change. It's almost refreshing even. Plus I think that longer fitted dresses can come off even sexier than mini dresses. Plus, it's hard not to look classy and sophisticated in a midi dress. I've been wearing this amazing Midi Dress from Missguided and I can't tell you how perfectly fitting it is! Not to mention that I can wear it to any event; dinner date, cocktail party, fashion outing, you name it! ;)

mirage.

It looks like my girls over at Kore Swimwear have done it again with their beautiful Mirage Collection that launched yesterday. Each suit is elegant yet sexy and completely unique! I absolutely love the shapes, colors and cuts of each piece. My favorite thing about Kore Swimwear is that they know a woman's body. Everything always fits perfectly in all the right places and the material is always the highest of quality. Not to mention the girls themselves are gorgeous and incredibly sweet! It's hard not to love a brand that is backed by two amazing sisters! Be sure to check out their Mirage collection today and swoop up your new favorite swimsuit!

Also, take a look at their other styles like Minerva and Flora that come in a variety of colors and prints!

sway.

Lately I've been trying to spice up my business attire at my marketing job and I realized my idea of looking more "business appropriate" quintessentially means adding a blazer to whatever I would typically wear. Haha. It's quite funny how a "blazer" really can change an entire look and even the way people treat you. Suddenly you seem more busy, professional and more sophisticated. I can't tell you how many encounters I've had where people have been more respectful and attentive because I'm wearing a blazer. They even greet me with "Ma'am" or "Ms. Borland". It's quite funny to think an article of clothing can make such a difference, but after all presentation is always key. Below is a prime example of an every day outfit that I'd wear to the office. It's perfect for dinner dates and meeting friends after work, since I'm pretty much ready for the night sans blazer. The dress is from Sway Chic and it's easily one of the most versatile dresses that I own because I can wear it with anything at anytime and it never seems inappropriate or unfitting.

nude.

I love wearing nude as a neutral tone and also for full on outfits, like this one. It alway reminds me of being bare and free, kind of like a newborn baby or the sand that breaks the waves on the beach. To me, there has always been something romantic and beautiful about the soft toned color and I feel like it's mysterious without being dark. It's funny how everyone always associates black with mystery but I think wearing something simple and soft brings more curiosity and interesting looks.

black and white.

My dream vacation always consists of crisp whites and deep blacks. I guess I can never get tired of how rich, clean and perfectly contrasting white and black look together. Plus, I love the minimalistic look and how simple yet powerful it can be. Wearing black and white allows you to focus on the silhouette of the outfit, the textures and fit, as opposed to prints and flashy colors. Although I'm quite a fan of bold, bright colors, It's almost refreshing to spend some days with out. I pulled some summer items from H&M to make my ideal swimwear outfit. I can imagine myself wearing all of this while laying next to infinity pools, spa beds and beach chairs. Hopefully that will happen sooner than later...

mixed up.

I've always been a fan of mixing and matching prints because I love bold prints being combined with even bolder prints. I got this Aztec printed bum bag (fanny pack) from Forever 21's Free Spirit Collection and I paired it with their Forever 21 Floral Pom Hemmed Dress. Honestly, the bum bag (fanny pack) is one of my favorite things to wear now, so I've just been throwing it on any and everything and every time, it just works!

cheers darlin'.

I've been wearing this LuLu*s red dress out on Saturday nights and I'm surprised how much I stand out wearing red. It's funny to think that we save bold colors for holidays or special occasions but fear them on "normal" days. I always have to remind myself that it's a good thing to not blend in. My closet is quickly becoming a rainbow of dresses, skirts and blouses and I wouldn't have it any other way. No more asking if something comes in "black" because I'm loving everything bright and bold lately.
