Summer arrived late here in California, with weather ranging from 80-100 degrees. I’m finding myself wearing breezy dresses, hot shorts and swimsuits more than anything else. I guess this 8000 Nerves dress would fall under the category of “breezy dresses”, with the asymmetrical hem and sheerness, it makes for such a perfect summer outfit. Plus, the bold color works with any skin tone.

A more “laid back” outfit that I wore out to the Huntington Library. The weather has been perfect lately, so I’ve been spending a lot of time outdoors, wearing simple outfits and surrounding myself with prettier environments. The dress I’m wearing is from ASOS, and is so comfortable and flowy. I bought it a year ago and finally got around to wearing it..it’s perfect for the season!

I haven’t posted any music in a while.. mostly because I’ve been anticipating the release of the new Saint Motel music video and refused to feature anything else. Haha. I can’t really make sense of how I feel when it comes to these kinds of things because I become such a ball of emotions and honestly, I’ve never been so proud. I spent so much of my time watching this all come together and seeing the final product is such an amazing feeling. I’m so happy for A/J and the rest of Saint Motel. Please take a look/listen:

The weather has been so hot here in California. I need to escape to the beach or a rooftop pool soon! This past month, I actually spent a lot of my free time searching for a swimsuit that’s just right! Haha. I’m sure I’m not alone when I say, “it’s so hard to find the perfect swimsuit”! I always end up hating the quality, the lining or the fit. Anyhow, I recently came across KORE SWIM and I just have to say…Their suits are perfect! I styled their Avalon Maillot (which is my new favorite swimsuit) here:

This past Wednesday, I got invited to Billabong’s Design for Humanity event (Thanks Lookbook.nu). It was unlike anything else, in the Paramount Studio Lot in Hollywood. Live bands played, Runway shows took place…Oh! and they had free Chipotle and Coffee!
I love events that aren’t just Open Bar..because I don’t drink and I always feel left out on the excitement. Haha. Anyhow, I wore the cream version of the dress I wore to the Nylon Anniversary Party back in April! It’s one of my favorite dresses to wear!
