I love throwing on big hats with simple rompers or dresses. It changes up the whole vibe and makes you seem a little bit more mysterious. It can also classy up a pretty basic outfit and make it all around more interesting. I paired this star printed ASOS romper with simple open toe heels and a floppy fedora from Bebe. All I need is a varsity jacket to throw on when it gets too cold and I’m set for Fall in California. 😉

Swedish band, Hello Saferide released a new album and all is well in my world. I think I needed this more than I thought. I guess there’s just something refreshing yet nostalgic when an artist you grew up with releases something new. Either way, my days are a bit brighter now and when I’m not listening to “Last Night Bus”, I wish that I was.
Speaking of refreshing, I’ve been wearing this co-ord set from Vesper and it’s perfect for these warmer days in Southern California. The pretty florals allow me to hold on to Summer for a bit longer. I don’t think the weather here is allowing Fall to come just yet and I’m not complaining. |

September is here and on my shopping checklist I have everything from outerwear to thigh high socks to the perfect backpack! I’m happy to be a part of the JCPenney x Chictopia collaboration that features the Arizona brand and their wide array of items, such as Super Skinny Jeans in every color you can think of and well-fitted jackets that you can throw over any outfit. I, of course chose the black skinnies to go along with the black denim/cotton varsity jacket. Both pieces are easy to wear since you can mix and match with any top and it really makes for the perfect Fall look!

One thing I love about Motel Rocks is that all of their pieces are perfect when worn separately and even more perfect when worn together. Plus, every silhouette and style comes in a variety of beautiful prints and bright colors. This little houndstooth number is one of my favorites because it’s kind of ridiculous and over the top, but I feel like it all just comes together and doesn’t seem too crazy…Either way, I wore a mute gray varsity jacket to tone down the “over-the-top-ness”!

The all new Tory Burch Collection has me swooning over Fall pieces like Muted Green Jaquard Skirts with matching Tops and Embroidered Box Purses that not only look elegant and classy…but downright beautiful. I’ve never been much of a fan of Fall/Winter being California born and raised, but this collection has me hoping for cooler weather, so I can slip on my thigh high socks with my mini dresses and matching sets. :*
