Happy (almost) Thanksgiving! I’m at the airport at the moment, ready to board a flight to Minneapolis with A/J. It should be an interesting holiday, since I’ve never been to Minneapolis or away for Thanksgiving. Expect lots of photos and be sure to stay updated on Instagram, because I’ll most likely be posting most of the photos there. Here comes part two of my collaboration with 2b Bebe. I can’t tell you how much I love this brand, especially since they have such trendy, unique pieces that are affordable. It makes it easy to give in to trends without having to spend too much money. This lace peplum dress was one of my favorite pieces at 2b Bebe and I can’t wait to wear it out to all of the upcoming holiday parties that I have on my calendar.

I leave today to Sacramento for another meeting at the marketing company I work for. I love waking up somewhere new and learning more about different places, regardless if they’re considered “paradise” or not. Everywhere has it’s own hidden gems. Speaking of gems, I’ve been strolling around in this Sequin Skirt from Lulu*s and dressing it up or down depending on the occasion. Here I’m wearing it more casually with laced up boots and a black blazer. When I typically dress it up, you’ll find me wearing Nude Heels and a more dressy blouse.

I’ve been topping off my outfits with this floppy fedora from BeBe about every other day since I bought it. It’s become my “go to” accessory and can easily make any simple outfit more interesting and in a way, mysterious. The plaid dress is a vintage school uniform from back in the day and the leather jacket is from H&M forever ago. Leather and plaid make up one of my favorite pattern/texture combinations and wearing them both at once always give off that “too cool for school” vibe. Not that I ever want to be that cool…but you know..the vibe isn’t that bad.
