On the last Friday of June, I hosted a fashion blogging event at The Jarritos Pop Up Shop on Melrose Ave. The event showcased items from J + CO, Kore Swim and 8000 Nerves!! We raffled off awesome prizes from the brands such as swimsuits, gift cards and 8000 Nerves’ signature bow shorts. It was such an amazing time and I was so happy to see so many friends and meet other bloggers and fashion forward people. Here are some photos from the event, and be sure to keep an eye out for the online giveaway that I will be hosting soon from the brands!
Such a fun time! Thanks everyone who stopped by.

The sun’s been out and I’ve been throwing on playsuits to frolic around in! There is so much joy in summer and it always feels so simple, easy and free! I want to spend my days off exploring and relaxing with people that I love and people that I just started to love. I’m super excited for the new girl friends that I’ve made and I can’t wait to spend days drinking tea, going to parties, and shopping with them! Here’s what I’m wearing today to spend some time with my boyfriend before he leaves on tour. I got these sunglasses after attending an amazing Steven Alan Optical event and I must say that I walked away with the perfect pair of shades! I’ve been on the look out for some unique nude colored shades for a while and I think these are the perfect fit.

I really can’t say how excited I am for summer and swimwear! My collection of high waisted bikinis and beautiful one pieces has grown so much! This Navy and White striped bikini from Tavik is perfect for this coming summer season, especially 4th of July! I paired it with a red hat and sweater to make it a bit more ‘patriotic’. I hope everyone has an amazing fourth of July tomorrow, I’ll be dawning this swim piece and some other ‘American’ themed clothing and going to BBQs with friends.

The 4th of July is almost here, so it’s time to pull out your American Flag gear and get ready for BBQs, friends and fireworks! I remember last year when I spent the day BBQ hopping until it got too dark, hanging out with good friends and eating so many hamburgers and hot dogs (I’m typically not the hot dog type). We spent the night sitting on a hill in Echo Park, watching fireworks from the Dodger’s Stadium. It was such an incredible time. This year, I plan on similar events occurring; lots of BBQ, laughs and reuniting with old friends!! I put together some of my favorite “American” themed items to help with your outfit planning! I’ll probably be wearing something similar myself:
Also- If you live in Southern California, be sure to check out my Giveaway from Simon Malls and you can win a $100 gift card!! Enter Here. Have a Happy & Safe 4th of July!!

Most people read my blog through Google Reader and I just wanted to let you know that you can import your Google Subscriptions to BlogLovin’. It’s super easy to use and it will even find new blogs for you to read. I hope this helps a bit and you don’t lose your favorite bookmarks!

With summer finally here, I plan on spending my days on the Venice Boardwalk, Laying on the sands of Malibu and dining in Newport Beach. My best friend and I have even talked about Whale Watching and Cruises. I love being close to the water when the weather gets warm and this is definitely something you can catch me wearing on Main St., in Huntington Beach or the Pier in Santa Monica. It’s such a fun summer outfit and I’ve been obsessing over cropped tops lately! Plus, it’s perfect to wear your swimsuit under and it doesn’t get too hot with all that extra fabric!
