jarritos (part 2).

A couple more photos from the Jarritos Ads that I modeled for last year! This was one of my favorite shots from the shoot, since the styling is on point with my own and I’ve always been a fan of pin up styled photos. Also, I’m a huge fan of the Fruit Punch flavored Jarritos and I love wearing red, so when I got to match one of my favorite drinks, it was a win/win!

mint condition.

I guess it’s no surprise that the color ‘mint’ is IN this year! Mint is not only refreshing and classy but it’s one of my favorite colors! I love that mint is this years “color” and it has been popping up left and right at all of my favorite stores- H&M, Zara, Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, Macy’s, BEBE, etc. The great thing about this years color is that it feels ‘new’.It’s easy to throw on a mint dress and feel refreshed! I guess there’s a reason why the term ‘mint condition’ was coined. 😉 I love pairing mint with other pastel colors such as- baby pink, light yellow and lavender. I also think it looks great paired with other mint item and accessories! Whether it’s classy or casual, mint fits all occassions and styles! See how I styled two completely different looks with one color- MINT!

june on the west coast.

Rompers are my favorite clothing items to throw on during the summer! I know not everyone is a fan of rompers..I’ve heard many people say they look “too childish” and “ill-fitting”, but I think you just haven’t found the right romper yet. Rompers that wrap around, like this one, are best for everyone, since you can always adjust the front opening by adding a belt. The print and fabric of your romper make a BIG difference, if you want to look more mature, get a solid color romper or a subtle, classy print. Also, it all depends on how you style the romper. I dressed up this romper by wearing high heels, a belt and a fancy hat. Of course this outfit could be dressed down with white keds, a leather jacket and so forth.

dungarees.

I’ve been wearing overalls (dungarees) a lot lately!! I got this pair from LuLu’s and I can’t stop wearing it. I love the navy and white stripes and fitted legs. I think it’s perfect for summer, since you can just throw them on over simple pieces. Plus, they’re so easy to dress up and down. I can get away wearing this with plain black flats or opt for something classier by wearing these Forward To All Heels. :)

If you’re in San Diego, be sure to pick up a copy of Locale Magazine! It’s my first cover and I’m so happy with the styling! I got to wear Ted Baker along with a ridiculous amount of diamonds. :) It has a quick write up about me and my blog along with an editorial that I’m featured in. I will also be in another editorial for their Orange County edition. I’m super excited and so lucky that I got a chance to work with such an amazing team! You can check out the online issue HERE! mimi.

I loved this Gypsy Junkies Mimi Tunic back when I got it last year in Daisy Lace. It’s still one of my favorite pieces for summer and I absolutely love the new colors and fabrics that it now comes in. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen me sporting it at a few music festivals already this year.
