Now that it is finally the holiday season, I am spending the next few weeks dressed in deep reds and cozy knits, like the ones from Cotton Citizen. I put together some of my absolute favorite pieces to share with you all. You will find that I love wearing basic form-fitting dresses in bold colors, drop tassel earrings and baker boy hats. It may not seem very festive right away, but I’ve found that it is so much better to wear something comfortable (and color appropriate) and then style it with over the top fancy jewelry like Vanessa Mooney earrings, statement pieces and even boots with embellishments. Outfits like this one can be worn at any holiday party, whether it’s with your family, at the office or celebrating with friends. It’s also perfect for day to night looks, since it all depends on how you style the piece. My favorite part is that each piece is wearable year round, it all depends on how you style it. Throw on some tights, gloves and ear muffs during the winter, and during the summer leave your legs bare with sandals and a sun hat! I’m growing more and more into the idea of wearing quality classic pieces rather than one time trendy pieces. That way when the holidays are over, you aren’t left with a ton of ugly christmas sweaters.. instead you’ll have awesome pieces that you can throw on any time and wear the way you want to.
Also, I am becoming such a huge fan of Baker Boy Hats. They’re perfect for all seasons and instantly make any outfit look a bit more edgy and fun.
