Last Thursday, Lookbook.nu threw an amazing holiday party in the heart of Hollywood. It was sponsored by IVI Vision and Wasteland and your new favorite band, Saint Motel performed ;). It was so much fun seeing everyone from lookbook and mingling with other bloggers! I wore a maxi dress with side slits from Love Brand, which is becoming my go-to holiday dress! It’s perfectly elegant, with just the right amount of flair (not the bare minimum).

I’m really loving Alice + Olivia‘s upcoming spring/summer collection. The colors are bright, the patterns are daring and everything is beautiful! I’ve always liked A+O but after this collection, my love for them has grown so deep! They really made something for every occasion/event and I can’t help but dream of wearing that blue&white tiered floor length dress!! Ahhhh.

I wore this dress in baby blue for Easter and finally got around to wearing it in yellow over the weekend. The thing is, I have too much clothing to wear and not enough time to wear them or events to wear them to. I also have a tendency to save my favorite pieces for something special or more extravagant than a typical party, which often leads to me not wearing it at all. Ha. Hopefully since parties are becoming more frequent and so many events are being flourished in LA, I’ll manage to cut tags off of my favorite pieces, that have just been sitting in my closet.

About a month ago, I posted about wanting these triple strap heels from Modcloth. Well, I got them and they’re incredible! I keep finding new ways to wear them, with or without socks…different sock colors and textures. It’s fun and I feel like it makes a simple black dress look even more amazing.
