Today was the first cloudy day in LA in such a long long time. Even though, it’s still remarkably hot, my head’s still in the clouds..dreaming of Fall Fashion. I’m so excited for the three B’s: Bows, Berry and Baroque. I’m loving all of the strategically placed, subtle bows on dresses and jackets and color palettes in the shades of deep purple, burgundy and navy!! & my favorite upcoming trend is the rich, every classic baroque inspired items that leave you wishing you could travel back to the 1600s! Here are my top five items for Fall, I may even go further and elaborate more on these trends, but until then:

Levi’s is such an iconic company. They took over the denim brand in a way where we now refer to jeans as “Levi’s”, kind of like how we say “Chapstick” instead of lip balm and “Kleenex” instead of tissue. With that said it was such an honor to be a part of their Lookbook.nu collaboration. I opted for a Levi’s Dress instead of their well known denim and styled it with thoughts of romance and sunny days.

I’m sorry for my absence and the lack of posts. I’ve been busy with projects, castings and building up an entire suit of armor. These past couple of months, I’ve become closed off and brick by brick, I’ve created the tallest walls. It’s strange when that happens, but also very self-assuring. Anyhow, here are my favorite things to “toughen up” in the sweetest way:

I should probably stay away from the internet, because it seems every day I find something new to lust after. For instance, I found these Chloe inspired ModCloth heels and I know I’ve ranted about “knock-offs” but I think there’s a huge difference between a designer replica at Forever 21 and a designer inspired item. A replica is exactly the same as the designer item, just on cheaper fabric, where as an inspired item takes a few key components of the design and adds small alterations. With that said, I’m going to buy these triple strap heels, mainly because the Chloe ones are impossible to find and these are SO cute. If I do magically find the Chloe ones, I’ll probably buy those too because I love supporting my favorite designers.

I think Black&White will always be a classic, timeless combination. Plus, I love pairing “dainty” with a little “tough”. With that said, My leather jacket collection is growing for this upcoming Fall/Winter season. I think living in California, you don’t really need many coats, just a few nice jackets. Anyhow, I wore this outfit recently..and I’m featuring the ever adorable Oliver again:

Everyone knows I’m a big fan of swimwear, but don’t get me wrong, I’m very particular with what I like. I kind of hate string bikinis, because they’re much more revealing and pushing to be “sexy”. I guess I’m drawn to more simpler suits that have unique silhouettes, hems and subtle details which I feel are sexier than wearing string. Haha. I love high waisted bottoms, long line balconette bikinis, and intricately designed one pieces. For instance, here are my top five swimsuits for the summer:
