I spent another day at Hanalei Bay where I went to the beach, the dry cave, the farmer’s market and the shopping center. The pineapple smoothies are AMAZING there and the views are incredible.

I spent the day at Hanalei Bay, which is the largest bay on the north of Kauai. It was so peaceful and relaxing.

What I wore that day. It’s actually a highwaisted vintage swimsuit and I just put a tank top over the bikini and tucked it into the swimsuit bottoms.

The movie Jurassic Park was shot here. Everywhere I looked I’d imagine dinosaurs.

I saw this little guy when I got back. I loved seeing these birds all around the island.

I spent most of the day around the resort and then I went to Foodland and got dragonfruit, which I thought was going to be A LOT better than it actually was. It was a simple day.

This was probably one of my favorite days in Hawaii. I went to the Kilauea Lighthouse, Anini Beach and Anini Park, read short stories by F. Scott Fitzgerald and watched the sunset on the resorts golf course.

I loved looking out my window and seeing this in the morning.

“lighthouses rule! if you don’t like the lighthouse…you suck!”

This was one of my two favorite beaches there. Everything was perfect.

I love Fitzgerald.

hawaii (day 1).

I’m going to try to make 7 posts in seven consecutive days. Each one being about a day I spent in Hawaii. On the first day, I didn’t really do anything because I was so tired from the plane ride and I didn’t bother taking any photos. The second day there, I spent most of the time at the resort and driving around. There was a fair going on close by and I decided to go. The food was AMAZING and the people were so kind.
