I found some photos of myself from the Fashion Is Art event on various blogs/websites and decided to post them:

I was introduced to the brand Laeken a couple of months back, when I got to model for a fashion event that they were included in. I got to meet the designer, Mallyce Miller, who is amazingly talented and so nice. I quickly fell in love with her clothes. Each garment is well-made, the quality is incredible and the detailing is beautiful. The style is very edgy with a perfect mix of masculinity and femininity. Here are some of my favorites from Laeken (the ones with bows are especially my favorite!!):

My friend, Bri and I had a small picnic at a nearby park. I’ve been obsessed with picnics lately. The scenery is SO gorgeous and the weather has been nice…plus, it’s so relaxing. Anyhow, Here’s what I wore to our picnic:

soldier of love.

Lately I’ve been loving everything military inspired. So, I was so happy to see this editorial in Vogue Russia July 2010. It features the young, Barbara Palvin photographed by Matt Irwin. I love the color palette and the different textures used…and the fact that Barbara looks adorable in every photo.

The Hold Up Art gallery in Little Tokyo held the second “Fashion is Art” event! The event included a live lookbook, great music, free drinks and lots and lots of fashion. It was packed with amazing people, love and art. I got to model in the live lookbook, which featured the following designers: GAS’D, LOVE BASICS, LOIRE VASEL, LOVE NAIL TREE, Laeken, Howl, Groceries, Blake Anthony Hardy Jewelry, Fleet Jewelry, Shop Epic and Natalie Romano. There were also boots set up by Falling Whistles, HearME, Atta Girl, and Helping Others Worldwide, where people were able to gain insight and knowledge on some really great causes. Overall, the night was a success and there will definitely be more events like this in the future!

What I wore to go shopping last weekend. It got a little windy towards the evening, so I threw on a cardigan from American Apparel.
