I’m excited for the holidays, for simple days where I won’t have to worry about too much other than wrapping gifts or updating this blog or adventuring off with close friends and loved ones. I’ve been pretty happy lately, maybe even the happiest. I feel like your whole life you’re told to be healthy and exercise and you kind of just brush it off — but for the past month, I’ve been doing just that. I have more energy now, I sleep better, wake up better and I get more done overall. It’s changed my life drastically and who would’ve guessed that they would be right…

I’m still spending these sporadic days of warmth out at the beach in Venice, Santa Monica or Malibu. There’s always something soothing about warm sand and ocean waves crashing down. Especially during the Fall when each day is supposed to be overcast, under 60 degrees and spent by camp fires. Its like getting a little taste of Summer in between Autumn, kinda like sneaking a bite of dessert during dinner. So, I’ve been enjoying these Summer treats spread out through Fall by spending these little days wearing Minimale Animale and hanging out with close friends.
Whenever the sun sporadically pops out, I take advantage of wearing shorts with heeled boots and little leather jackets. Though it’s not the most practical Fall outfit, I’ve always loved mixing denim & leather together. Plus, you can always wear a similar look for colder days by throwing on a scarf and your favorite skinny denim.
I’ve realized that no matter what, sleek black pieces that are fitted and well structured will always look amazing. Even if you throw on more black, in which it will actually just looks more amazing. Especially if they’re different textures and fabrics. I paired the little black jumpsuit with black platform heels and my favorite leather vest. Simple as that.
It wasn’t until I started resizing these photos that I realized my outfit had a slight resemblance to something “Little J” in Gossip Girl would wear — Of course, minus the part when she went crazy, blacked out her eyes and had to go to rehab. Man, I miss that show! :/ Anyhow, I loved this Missguided tartan playsuit the second I saw it. It’s been the perfect Fall piece to style with thigh high socks and simple black heels. Oh & a leather jacket when it gets just a bit too cold.
