Missguided does an incredible job with their matching Blazer and Short sets. They are always perfectly fitting and they come in a variety of colors, so you can have a different suit for every day of the week. This one here has to be one of my favorites because of the bold plaid print. Kind of similar to the loud houndstooth suit, I wore back in Spring and Summer…but clearly more suitable for Fall with muted tones.

I’ve been searching high & low for these Chloe Embellished Bow Heels for quite some time now. I was able to get my hands on the flats version of these shoes, but it only made me long for the heels more. I’ve always dreamt them to be the most perfect statement heels; luxurious, elegant and classy. Plus, I’m a huge fan of bows, especially on shoes, and these ones just happened to be wrapped in Swarvoski Crystals! Since these heels are so ‘out there’, I’ve been pairing them with simple black pieces and outerwear with gold embellishments. The shoes make such a statement, they can instantly turn any basic outfit into something beautiful and fancy. I’ve been saving them for special occasions or nights I know I won’t get stepped/spilled on.

Now that Fall is underway, I’m trying to stay warm and still look cool. Wearing pants, jeans or leggings has never been my thing, but I’ve grown to like it more and more with time. I guess it’s all due to the warmth and overall easiness. But wearing pants every day can quickly grow boring and outdone. So, I’ve been spicing up my Fall basics by wearing patterned pants with tons of muted colored accessories to tone down the overall look. I think black may be the easiest color to wear with grid print leggings and you can get away with it flawlessly and not look too ‘out there’, you know what I mean…

It’s always difficult to dress for a day job when you want to head to a dinner, show or meet up with friends after. I’ve been finding that these Black Swan dresses are the perfect dress to transition from day to night. I’ve been heading straight to dinner parties after work or meeting up with friends downtown. All I need is to throw on a leather jacket, if I want to look less conservative and more sleek.

I’m always going to be a fan of capes and matching sets, so this H&M co-ord is absolutely perfect! I love the textured grid print that pairs easily with simple black accessories and leather pieces. Plus, you can so easily dress this up or down, depending on where you’re going. For the office, I’d throw on some simple black boots and switch out to black platforms for a night out. Each piece is under $100 and completely versatile. It really does make for the perfect Fall look, and you can style everything over and over again with other items.

The weather in California has made it quite difficult to transition from Summer to Fall. The mornings are cloudy and overcast while the afternoons beam unbearably hot or sometimes vice versa, when we’re left with evenings that are too cold without sweaters. So, I’ve been dressing for both hot and cold, since it’s basically a toss up at this point. I’m pairing all of my playsuits with leather jackets and closed toe boots or heels. It makes for a completely different look had it been Summer & I’m actually liking the tough leather with soft pastel plaids. 😡
