The weather has been perfect, even though summer is slowly coming to an end. I will miss the summer parties and BBQs and simple times spent outdoors. I promised myself to make the last bit of it enjoyable and bright. Just savior the last warm nights spent with good friends or lunch days in gardens or pool parties. I think those are the things that matter. The experiences you make and the people you make them with. I had lunch with a close friend and he said “No matter what, the world will still rotate and it will take us both with it.” He’s right. So, after this month…bring on Fall!

Nylon Magazine opened up a new online store and the shop has everything from the footwear to beauty to home and iphone accessories. Plus, I love that they carry brands like Motel Rocks and Zero Gravity. Nylon sent me these amazing Bunny Flats by YRU. I styled it here with a Palm Tree print co-ords and blue mirrored sunglasses. The perfect outfit to visit Unique LA in downtown and stroll around on a cloudless day.

There are zero days where I don’t want to feel like a superhero. So, capes and full on cat suits have always been some of my favorite things to wear. This cape romper by Tashi is pretty incredible, since it combines a flowy cape with a delicate romper (two of my favorite things)! I’ve been pairing it with basic high heels, a simple cross body and a waist belt!

the (not so) plain white t.

One thing that has never gone out of style, and is some what of a staple piece in every wardrobe; the white t-shirt. It can be worn for any casual setting, it can make you look tough, it can make you look relaxed and it can even make you fashionable. The classic white shirt worn by James Dean in ‘Rebel without a Cause’ is a staple piece for that “tough guy” look and let’s not forget John Travolta in “Grease” throwing on a leather motorcycle jacket over his white T to really portray the “bad boy” look. Now a days, the white T is seen more as a fashionable piece for women everywhere. It’s seen as Sexy, Classic and Sleek. It also comes in a ton of options – Crop Tops, Boyfriend T’S, Regular Crew Necks and much much more. Depending on how you wear the white t-shirt, whether it’s tucked into a skirt, over a swimswuit (as a cover up), or hanging over jeans. The white t-shirt is an investment piece and will always be a “go-to” for any minimalist. It can be worn with any bottoms and with any over coat…anywhere.

The white t-shirts from Metalicus are my favorites! You can find everything from Crop Tops, to Oversize T’s, to Long Sleeve Shirts and even Layered Tops. I can’t tell you how simple it is to throw on a comfortable crop top over something high waisted and be good for the day.

**Check out more options at Metalicus and I’ll be sure to show you soon how I’ve been wearing my white t-shirt. :)

I love collaborating with upscale, classy brands such as UK brand, Vesper. It’s always easy to style the pieces as more casual or dressy, depending on the jacket and footwear. I wore mine here with a leather jacket and slick black heels as a more every day look. :)

I think this may be the closest thing to sweats that I will ever own. I’ve made it a point to never buy sweats, for the sake of falling into lazy habits or choosing comfort over presentation. Don’t get me wrong, it’s always nice to be comfortable, but the way you present yourself directly depicts how people will treat you. Plus, you can find amazingly comfortable yet presentable pieces all over the place. This little black jumpsuit from A La Femme Shop is the definition of comfort and you won’t look too comfortable or underdressed or whatever! I styled my jumpsuit with my favorite Missguided caged heels and a Floppy Fedora to dress it up a bit.
