I will never ever get tired of rompers; they’re easy, fun and they always look more interesting than jeans and a t-shirt. I’m obsessed with Missguided’s collection of one pieces and how many beautifully printed, open back and lace playsuits they have. I paired this little number with the coolest backpack from Nila Anthony, a local LA handbag company. I can’t get enough of the attached hat and how festival perfect it is.

This week came and went so quickly, with impromptu flights to Vegas, a photoshoot with a photographer I admire, opening ceremonies and so many items crossed off my “to-do” list! I’ve been running back and forth with ideas, work and plans being made. I have so many wonderful announcements to share with you soon. For now, here is another addition to my festival collaboration with Forever 21! I can’t get enough of their floral prints and denim shorts. 😡

I’ve fallen in love with jumpsuits this season. I used to stray away from them, since I felt like they were too costume-y or ridiculous or “out there” but now they’re my go-to outfits! I think if worn right, with simple accessories and minimal styling, you can look classy and even elegant in the one piece wonder! I’ve been wearing my jumpsuit every chance I get; for a weekend out joy riding with the boy or attending birthday parties and even for nights out at the theater. It’s the easiest and most comfortable item that I have and honestly, it’s so much fun to wear!

Daisies have quickly become my favorite flower this Summer. I think it’s the simplicity that gets me because after all, it doesn’t take too many petals to make a daisy. A daisy was actually the first flower I learned how to draw and I always thought there was something so beautiful about it’s minimalism. Speaking of minimal, I decided to style this lace daisy dress from Charlotte Russe with all black and white accessories. I think the daisy waist band makes fora unique twist on a perfectly fitted black dress.

I’ve been listening to Damien Rice on my drives home and it makes me equally happy and sad. There is always something about passionate, soul driven music that will always leave you feeling a little bit free. It reminds me of Summer’s spent at music festivals and long drives with my favorite people, it reminds me of laughing endlessly, first loves with racing hearts and beach days that feel like memories. Sometimes in these moments, I catch myself quietly repeating “I don’t want this to end”. So, here’s to hoping for another summer that drives us wild…I’ll be spending it wearing denim cut offs and leather jackets.

Midi dresses have been invading my wardrobe more and more….and honestly, I kind of like it. I’ve become so used to bare legs from the mid thigh down that wearing anything a bit longer is a nice change. It’s almost refreshing even. Plus I think that longer fitted dresses can come off even sexier than mini dresses. Plus, it’s hard not to look classy and sophisticated in a midi dress. I’ve been wearing this amazing Midi Dress from Missguided and I can’t tell you how perfectly fitting it is! Not to mention that I can wear it to any event; dinner date, cocktail party, fashion outing, you name it! 😉
