paradise point.

Paradise Point certainly lives up to it’s name! I spent a quick vacation exploring the hidden gem off the coast of San Diego and it was more of an adventure than anything else. The tiny island is literally down “Vacation Road” and connected only by bridges near Mission Bay. You can even rent bikes and ride into town to hang out with the locals…or just stay on the island, since there’s so much to do. I honestly wish I stayed for longer because I wanted to check out the Bay Cruise and at least attempt to sail. Paradise Point has everything from (amazing!) restaurants to fitness spas to mini golf to a full service marina. Seriously…you can take a water taxi to Sea World if you wanted. I opted for jet skis and cruised along the bay.

I have to admit, having a room that was a few feet from the bay, had to have been my favorite part of my stay. There’s nothing more refreshing than waking up to sand at your door and a beautiful view. I spent the majority of my days lounging by the bay, one of their many pools and checking out the lagoon. At nights we started a bon fire and made s’mores just near the water. It was the perfect time and this has easily become one of my favorite spots in San Diego!

If you’re ever in San Diego, be sure to check out Paradise Point. :)
