I’m so sorry about the delay. I wanted to post my answers earlier this week, but I worked every day. Also, I was very surprised at the number of questions/emails I got and I wanted to thank you all for your interest in my blog. It really means a lot and I appreciate every single one of you!
Now…on to the Q&A:
How old are you?
-I’m 20 years old.
Which country are you from?
-I’m from America. My parents are from Belize.
Do you have a boyfriend?
-Nope.
How much do you weigh?
-Ninety-four pounds.
What religion are you?
-Christian.
What nationality are you?
-Belizean.
What’s your hair/skin care routine!?
-My hair is naturally a bit curly/wavy, so I usually just define the curls more with my flat iron. I recently started using organic hair products with olive oil and it’s amazing! It makes my curls last for a really long time. I use Pantene Pro-V Restoratives shampoo and conditioner and Pantene Moisture Renewal shampoo and condition.
-I don’t really have a “routine” for my skin…I just wash my face every night.
What kind of makeup do you use?
-I switch back and forth between DiorSkin Nude foundation and Maybelline Liquid Mousse and I always use Palladio eyeliner from Sally’s Beauty Supply. Also, most of my eyeshadows are from Mac.
How do you curl your hair? I love the way it waves to the side, what size curling iron do you use?
-I don’t use a curl iron. I just use my flat iron and I turn it while my hair pulls through. I feel like it’s so much easier to use than an actual curling iron. I think you’d be able to do it with any flat iron, as long as it’s not too wide.
What is some of your favorite music?
-Rilo Kiley is my favorite band. Ever. I also love Bright Eyes, Monster’s of Folk, Babyshambles, M. Ward, Elliot Smith, The Elected, T.I., Dear and the Headlights, The Libertines, Fruit Bats, Ben Jones, Kate Nash, Johnathan Rice, The Smiths, The Mountain Goats, Neva Dinova, Stars, Damien Rice and a lot more.
How did you get into modeling?
-I’m not really into modeling… I just do a few photoshoots for clothing companies here and there, but I don’t have an agency or anything. I think if you’re tall and you have the right look, it shouldn’t be hard for you to get into modeling.
What do you do every day?
-This question is very broad..but some days I go to work, hang out with friends, go to shows, take photos, read, etc. It really depends on my mood.
Are you in college/uni? If so, what degree are you taking?
-I have all of my general ed classes down but I’m waiting to move to LA, so I can attend FIDM.
What are you planning to do with your love for fashion/acting etc.?
-I hope to become an actress someday because I do enjoy it very much and then once I’ve established myself, I’d like to get more into the fashion world and possibly collaborate with designers/stylists.
Where do you get your inspiration for your outfits?!
-I get most of my inspiration from fictional characters like J. Gatsby, Blair Waldorf and Minnie Mouse. Haha.
What stores wouldn’t you shop in and why?
-I never shop at Forever 21 because I don’t like the quality of their clothes and I certainly don’t like that they knock-off designers. It’s one thing to get inspiration from designers and build on their ideas, but Forever 21 completely replicates designer items.
Have you ever thought about becoming an artist?
-When I was younger I wanted to. I really do enjoy drawing and creating things, but I feel like I’m only able to, when I’m in the right mood. I actually have a lot of drawings that I’d like to post here. I just need time to scan them.
What are essentials that you think every girl should have in her closet?
-Thank you for this question, Myesha! I plan on doing a whole post answering it, so I can post photos and such.
What camera do you use? And do you edit your photos, if so which editing software?
-I use a simple Canon Powershot. I love it because it’s easy to carry around and it takes decent quality photos. I use Photoshop 7.0 to fix the lighting in my photos.
