I’ve been collaborating with the wonderful and talented Efi Green on some pieces. I’ve mentioned her many times before, since her brand 8000 Nerves and also on other creative partnering. We’ve been reconstructing cool vintage finds and making them wearable for today. We both envision different fits, silhouettes and sometimes completely different styles for these vintage garments. This one-piece was a few sizes too big and Efi knocked it down to fit me perfectly. She also made the legs more fitting but kept the wide, vintage feel of the piece. It’s crazy how much love you feel for a garment that you’ve seen born again on quality fabric, as opposed to something mass produced and sold for $14.99 at your local mall.

Here we go again! I’m packing for the desert for another weekend with my favorite person and seeing my favorite bands. My outfits have been in the theme of the 70s with a hint of a western feel. I’ve also been a huge advocate of flare pants and have been wearing them every chance I get. Kind of funny considering a year ago, I never even wore pants. Anyhow, I paired these Missguided flares with a fringe crop top and my favorite cat eye frames.

I’ve been gearing up for festival season with amazing fringe pieces from Missguided. I was never much of a fan of fringe, probably because I’ve never seen it done well, but now I love spotting quality pieces that show fringe in all it’s glory. Now this little number is a bit daring for my taste…I often forget that even though I’m a petite little lady, I have a much larger chest than other girls my size (thanks Mom). So, as cute as this looked on the model, it makes me look super busty, which is too bad because I absolutely love the style, fabric and fun details. I highly recommend this piece for smaller chested girls because it’s perfect for Summer, Festivals and even casual settings on the weekend. I paired mine here with fringe booties from Steve Madden, because why not?

Coachella Weekend One was a carousel of pool parties, good music and lots and lots of outfits. I spent the palm tree filled weekend at a house in Palm Springs and jumping from radio station parties to pool parties to the festival grounds. The highlight of the weekend had to be watching Saint Motel perform on the main stage with show girls and a horn section. I am so lucky and proud to see them in all their success. Be sure to check them out if you’re going to Weekend 2!
