Marching band jackets or military jackets or any type of structured outerwear that’s over-embellished has always been something that caught my attention. This little piece by Stella McCartney was in collaboration with GAP kids years ago. Luckily I was small enough to squeeze into a Size L kids, otherwise I’d be searching high and low for something similar! I paired the jacket here with my favorite boots from Missguided and a perfectly pleated skirt that will soon be available in my store.

I love mixing textures and fabrics, so it’s no surprise that one of my “go to” outfits is always a combination of denim & leather. I love the effortlessness of it all and how simple and durable the two fabrics are. It’s always great to see a tough fabric used on a more feminine silhouette, like this denim playsuit that I got from ASOS (for only $20)! I paired it with a pair of moto boots and the most incredible leather vest that I got from Urban Outfitters! I love finding amazing quality statement pieces that I know I’ll throw on over and over again!

Halloween is one of my favorite days in the entire year, because I love playing dress up and putting together my costumes. I’ve been wanting to be Wonder Woman for a while now and it seems like every Halloween, I become overwhelmed by all of the things I want to be and veer off somewhere else. But it’s finally happening this year and it took me forever to find a costume that wasn’t a corset and underwear… Haha. Aside from Wonder Woman, this year I’m also going to be Poison Ivy and a Vintage Cheerleader. I’ll be making another post soon with all of my costumes. :)

A couple weeks ago I spent the weekend up in Oak Glen visiting pumpkin patches, apple orchards and corn stalks! The little gem up in the mountains is filled with the most delicious fruit, a perfect little restaurant (that makes chicken pot pie and the BEST apple cider!), corn mazes and tons of activities. Its been a yearly thing since 2012 and every year the best apples are in season. I tend to dress up in my own version of “apple picking” appropriate clothing. Denim short alls instead of overalls and the classic red plaid shirt, seen by lumberjacks everywhere. Just call me the female Paul Bunyan! 😉

I’m so thrilled to share with you some NEW items in my online store: Tuolomee.Clothing! The new pieces have to be my favorite yet…and trust me, there’s plenty more to come for this season and next. Including some special items from one of my favorite designers & friends, Efi Green of 8000 Nerves.

Anyhow, I’ve been wearing this lace two piece to upscale functions and parties. It’s the perfect ensemble for those fancier events or dinner dates. Plus, it’s so easy to transition from day to night depending on your footwear and outerwear.

This little lace number from For Love & Lemons has become one of my Fall Favorites. It’s classy embroidered print and open back detail has me wearing it out for tea on Sundays, and brunch throughout the week. It’s the perfect dress for simple, dainty moments and can be easily thrown on, worn under trench coats and with nude accessories. Boop!
