the perfect clutch.

I always feel like there is one thing lacking in my wardrobe and that is the perfect evening bag. An evening bag that is both beautiful and interesting is sometimes hard to find. Actually, Evening bags in general are often looked over because people tend to think they can only wear them for weddings, upscale parties and special occasions. But I feel like evening bags can be worn with ANYTHING. I mean, why not fancy up a casual outfit or feel a little bit more dressy by throwing on a really intricately designed clutch? It’s always fun to mix up your wardrobe and despite what’s been said…there really are NO RULES in fashion. Dress the way you want to feel and wear things that are wonderful, as often as you like! Below are some of my absolute favorite clutches from Nordstrom! I made sure to pick out items that were unique from clutches you typically see. I’m sure wearing any of these bags will get you tons of compliments! Especially the seashell one… 😉

BCBG Quinn Clutch | Natasha Couture Butterfly Clutch | Valentino Lacca Flap Clutch
Tasha Princess Clutch | Charlotte Olympia ‘Clam’ Clutch | Charlotte Olympia ‘Pandora – Postcard’ Clutch
Charlotte Olympia ‘Camera’ Clutch | Tasha Star Clutch | Kate Spade New York ‘Georgica Road – Silka’ Clutch

just don’t go telling everyone.

Boop! I hope everyone’s Monday is starting off well! I’ve been keeping busy this holiday season with marketing, this blog (as well as my Simon Style Setter blog) and revamping my portfolio for modeling. I’m very excited to attend the few remaining holiday parties and then get back to work! :) This Marc Jacobs piece from his 2008 collection is one of my favorite holiday dresses. I love that it has the perfect amount of shimmer and it’s completely unique from anything else. I wore it here with an H&M collarless coat and Marc Jacobs heels.

new years eve favorites.

I’ve probably said this last year and the year before, but I’ll say it again..I don’t like New Years Eve. It’s not that I’m ever alone during the holiday, I’ve had boyfriends that I’ve celebrated with and even then, I’ve never been a fan. I guess I just don’t like the idea behind it. I hate counting down till midnight and I hate strangers forcing kisses upon each other and even worse, how embarrassingly drunk people get. I don’t mind people drinking (most of my friends do) but being at a party where the entire idea is to get wasted, isn’t really for me. However, one thing I do like about New Years Eve is that everyone dresses up in sequins and metallics. It really is nice to see everyone looking their best! I actually put together some of my favorite New Years Eve inspired outfits to help you get ready for the countdown…

Starlight Hearted Dress | Charlotte Olympia Clam Clutch | Glitter Miss Sunshine Heel in Gold | Fringe of Motion Necklace

Waiting for the Countdown Dress | Play the Party Clutch | Silver Glitter Mary Janes | It’s the Glitter Things Hair Tie Set

Twinkling at Twilight Dress | The Sound of Soul Dress | Jessica McClintock ‘Cake’ Glitter Minaudiere | Sparkle an Interest Heel | Gold Earrings

Silver Belle of the Ball Dress | Brilliance Bloom Necklace | Glitter Miss Sunshine Heel in Silver | Expressions Caged Clutch

I hope you find something that you liked! I’ll just continue swooning over the “Waiting for the Countdown” Dress.. I hope you all have a Happy and Safe New Years Eve!

a lot like christmas.

Boop! Merry Christmas everyone! I’ve been in Vegas all week spending time with my family, buying my nephew way too many presents and wearing metallic and velvet dresses. I love visiting Vegas around Christmas because the decorations are from floor to ceiling with red, green and golds! Plus, the city is pretty empty around this time so I get to enjoy all the tourist-y attractions without the lines.

merry merry.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful time leading up to Christmas! It’s one of my favorite holidays and I always feel the need to dress up a bit more. I’ve been golden all season wearing metallic dresses like this one. December is the perfect time to shine a little more. I feel like Gold goes best with my skin tone, so I was so thrilled to get this Oasap Gold Dress and Miu Miu Gold tipped heels.

red and gold.

Christmas is almost here and this is one of my favorite holiday dresses. The dress is by Marc Jacobs and I love styling it with these patent red Marc Jacobs heels. I’ll be spending my holiday in Las Vegas, since my sister and nephew live out there. I love going to Vegas because they always have the best, over-the-top decorations! Plus, it’s always nice to see my nephew…kids grow up so fast!
