I will never ever get tired of rompers..except taking them off, since it’s always such a hassle. But aside, from that…never! This is one of my favorite rompers by Lucca Couture, it’s a chiffon material and the print is delicate and gorgeous! I’ve been experimenting more with nude and cream tones, so I’ve been getting a lot of use of my cream colored socks and lace motorcycle jacket. It’s such a nice change from always using black or dark browns. You should try it!

music monday.
|
Spin Magazine released Saint Motel’s newest music video for “Day Dream, Wet Dream, Nightmare” last week. I had to share it with you all since the song has been one of my favorites for quite some time now. Sidsel Wittendorff Sørensen makes a beautiful depiction of the three part song with animated drawings and pretty pictures. The animation aligned with the music will pull at your heart strings and carry you through a wave of emotions. Check it out below.

the land of make belize.

I finally got around to uploading and editing these photos from my trip to Belize in April. As many of you know, I’m Belizean, so it was amazing to experience the Belizean culture and lifestyle firsthand. I got to see the area my parents grew up and even the school my Mom went to. We spent a majority of the trip visiting family members that I haven’t seen since I was two and places I’ve never been before. We started in Belize City (the capital) and then made our way to Corozal, San Pedro, Belmopan, Placencia, and then PG. The scenery was always beautiful; everywhere. The people were friendly and they always greeted you “good morning” or “good afternoon”, as you walked pass them. The food was amazing– completely organic! The weather was perfect and the water was warm. It was unlike anything else! We went to the Mayan Ruins, the blue hole, horse back riding and golf cart riding. I had such an incredible time. I did get a ton of mosquito bites and stung by a jelly fish, which kind of put a damper on the trip..but I figured they’d be great stories to tell.

kaleidoscope romper.
|
I never get tired of the kaleidoscope patterns, it reminds me of church windows and I’ve always had a thing for symmetry. So, when I saw this printed romper from Lucca Couture, I couldn’t wait to wear it out. The print is eye catching and the open back is a nice surprise. I paired it with a black bow belt from H&M, to add to the surprise and Marc Jacobs heels to make the outfit more classy.
