Wearing a tutu is always difficult because you can look too princess-y or feel too puff, but I think for the right occasion it can actually be quite wonderful! I finally got the perfect opportunity when I went to the Ice Kingdom at the Queen Mary. It seems kinda fitting to be so layered and over the top when you’re surrounded by snow and ice sculptures. If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you’ve seen what I’m talking about.

I finally got around to finishing my outfit timeline of 2012… Here is a collection of outfits from July – December. It’s so funny to look back at all of my old outfits and styling them differently in my head. I really can’t wait to start this year with more color, edge and highly stylized pieces.

I wanted this dress months back when I first saw it on ModCloth.com! I love the triangle open back, the pretty pattern and the silhouette of the dress overall. It’s so perfect for winter..or any event where you have to be a bit more dressy! I wore it for my birthday dinner!

Ever since I could remember I’ve always wanted to wear cute little suits that made people think I was all business! Haha. I finally feel like I’m at the point where I can get away with wearing a matching suit set and 4 inch heels in the office. Plus, I turned 23 yesterday and I’m so happy to be another year older..it makes wearing a business suit even more fitting.

Today I turn 23 and I am the happiest person. I’m at such a great place in my life and I can’t complain about anything… seriously…I’m not allowed. I’m so grateful to be another year older and to have all of you, to share my experiences with! Here’s to 23!
