season’s greetings!

Happy Holidays!!
I love love love dressing up this time of the year! I’m finally getting the opportunity to wear all my poofy, tiered dresses that I had altered this year. This little number from Marc Jacobs is one of my absolute favorites since it’s bold and fun without being too crazy. Plus, I like anything that makes me feel like a doll. I paired it here with Marc Jacobs patent boots and a vintage clutch. I’ll be wearing it out to Vegas for the holiday where I’ll get to see my nephew for the first time in almost a year! How are you all spending Christmas?

the perfect holiday outfit.
|
This may be the holiday outfit of my dreams. I love anything feathered, gold and with bows, so there’s no surprise I was completely smitten with the Marc Jacobs Mini Gift Bow Purses this season. & don’t even get me started on this feathered Lanvin dress that is perfectly fitted for a princess or a Black Swan..Either way, it’s just perfect!
I can imagine myself wearing it to open presents or out at the many holiday parties. I will be spending Christmas in Vegas this year, so wearing gold is pretty much a must! What are your holiday outfit plans?

cure me of this cold, winter set heart.
|
I’ve been obsessing over knits this winter, especially thick, high neck tops and matching sets like this one from Missguided. Living in Southern California allows our winter season to be more enjoyable since we don’t have to worry about big coats and too many layers. We can simply throw on garments with thicker fabric and fleece lined tights if we decide to wear skirts or dresses! I’ve been opting for thigh high boots, since they’re warmer and I can always pair thick socks underneath. It really is the perfect winter boot! But I have to warn you — Thigh boots can easily look bad. They’re one of those items that you really have to invest in for quality and aesthetics, but trust me..once you find the right pair, it’s completely worth the heavy price tag.

Italy was the most romantic and beautiful trip that I’ve ever ventured on. I’ll go into details with more photos at a later time, but for now follow my instagram @tiffanyborland for the latest on my travels and daily activities. :*

tis’ the sequin!
|
One thing I love about the holiday season is the fact that you can wear anything shiny, bright or over the top and get away with it. I love wearing classic silhouettes with fun textures, prints and studs. Even for my every day outfits, I find myself dressing up a bit more by wearing sequin covered dress shirts and studded heels! It’s the perfect look for daily activities during the holidays.
