I cannot wait to share exciting news, the times I’ve already spent and the things I look forward to. Here is a look back at my outfits from January – April of 2013! the perfect birthday outfit.

My birthday is tomorrow and I’m always happy to grow a year older shortly after the new year. I’ve been wanting to wear a pink poofy princess dress for my birthday for a while now and finally found the perfect one from Topshop! The dress screams “birthday” and since it’s from Topshop, it runs a lot smaller and fits me perfectly. I plan on wearing the dress during my birthday dinner with my family and then A/J has some surprises planned for the weekend! I’m so excited!
Topshop Stripe Satin Fit & Flare Dress, Pink Birthday Hat, Ippolita ‘Stella’ Chandelier Earrings, Ippolita ‘Stella – Lollipop’ Large Cocktail Ring, Ted Baker London’Karsie’ Glitter Frame Clutch, Macarons, Valentino Couture Bow d’Orsay Pump

I’ve grown a love for Maxi Dresses with Thigh High splits. There is such an elegance to it and I feel like it makes long length dresses much more sexy, mysterious and interesting. I paired this black and white, composition printed maxi with a fringed poncho from Lucca Couture! It’s not an outfit that I typically wear, but I love experimenting with new lengths, prints and pieces!

It seems like the holidays came and went! I spent most of November and December attending meetings in San Francisco, Portland and Seattle. Once that was over, I rushed to Vegas to spend Christmas with my sister and nephew. Everything went by so quickly, but I can’t complain because I enjoyed every second of it. Plus, I’m glad that it’s finally 2014. I’m looking forward to all the opportunities to come and I love the beginning of the year because everyone feels hopeful, excited and brand new! Anyhow, here’s what I wore to a holiday party with A/J. It’s one of my favorite dresses from ASOS!

Twenty – Thirteen was filled with work and love and whatever crosses over in between. I spent most weekdays in an office, at castings, or modeling and the weekends were spent venturing off with a/j to museums, dinner dates, and nature sightings. We took road trips up to San Francisco and ate at farms along the coast. We spent my birthday in the mountains, drinking hot coco and playing scrabble. I had business meetings back to back and spent days flying here and there and then back over here. Stayed in places for just the day where I found friends, lost friends and made new friends a few minutes later. I wore heels every day and laughed harder than I have. I bought Chanel, Chloe and Miu Miu shoes and pranced along in Marc Jacobs dresses. Attended hundreds of fashion events and parties and collaborated with brands I grew up wearing. I fell in love and I fell asleep and I didn’t once fall down. I went to Belize and Minnesota, saw where the people I cherish grew up and ended loving them even more. I got my first magazine cover, got promoted and worked harder than ever. I grew up and over everything and became happy, settled and silly. I can only hope that Twenty-Fourteen is as equally good, if not better!
I hope everyone had a happy and safe New Year’s Eve! I’ll be out working while most of you are still partying.. 😉
