I wore this outfit to spend the day (eating cake) with one of my best friends for his birthday!! Captain actually takes the majority of photos that I post on here and I am entirely grateful for him! I am so lucky to have such a talented friend and runs around with me, taking photos and laughing endlessly. Haha.

Two thousand twelve has been one of my favorite years to date. I’ve always been a fan of twos and ones and I turned twenty-two in early January and that made everything superstitiously meaningful. This year, I didn’t break any hearts or lose any friends or care too much about anything. Oh wait. Actually one thing. My closet grew three times in size and I wore dresses only once and then never again. I went on adventures and long car rides and ate food I’ve never eaten before. I met beautiful people and ugly people and realized that they were both the same. I spent most of the year casting, modeling, and marketing for work. I grew two inches and learned some sign language. I fell in love for the first time in a long time…or ever even and it made my eyes water and my knees weaken and my heart burst into tiny pieces and that feeling hasn’t stopped. I decided to be happy all the time and developed a liking for hot chocolate, museums and wind in my hair. I invested more in myself and this blog and bought the Marc Jacobs dress of my dreams. I grew patient and kind and I’m still working on a few things. I became a better person.
Another great year with all of you!! I am thankful every day for you.

It’s New Year’s Eve and I’m excited to spend 2013 wearing more pinafores, plaid and high heeled boots. It’s about time I incorporate more “edgy” items into my wardrobe. I really feel like my closet has become a collection of mini dresses, peter pan collars and circle skirts, so this will be an exciting addition. As far as resolutions go…I don’t have one. Anyway, Happy New Year! I hope 2013 is everything you want it to be.

I bought this trumpet skirt from ASOS a while back and finally got around to wearing it. I used to think trumpet skirts were horrible and they made my torso look too long and my legs look too short. But I think I found a great balance with layering and adding a petticoat underneath makes all the difference. Since the weather’s a lot colder than I would like, I paired it with a scarf, leather jacket and some old Nine West boots that I got as a gift years ago.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and now, New Year’s Eve is right around the corner!! I’m probably going to end up working that night (which I prefer) so, I’m not really big on this holiday. Haha. Anyway, for all of those that do celebrate, I think this dress by BeBe is more than perfect for the occassion! It literally outshines every other dress. 😉 I wore it out to my boyfriend’s holiday party and it was such a hit!

Tomorrow is the big day!! I’ve always been a fan of Christmas, but this year I’m practically celebrating it alone at a Vegas Resort. Which, I really don’t mind since I prefer my own company anyway. I will see my family throughout the day tomorrow and then I have to rush to LA Christmas night, since I have a shoot early Wednesday morning. Anyhow, I hope you all are surrounded by the ones you love and you get everything you want this year!! I love you all so much and I’m grateful for each and every one of you! Merry Merry Christmas!!
